Day 29 - Stratford

Wednesday 6th August

Decided to spend another day/night in Stratford. Strolled around shops charity shops were disappointing no books or jigsaws that I fancied. I did buy a dress for Lucys and Tims weddings. Paul got the razor head too.

Goose with half a loaf stolen from a girl
Back to boat for lunch having paid to moor. It is now £5 a night and payable to the council not the Avon navigation trust.

Water Gypsy moored opposite the theatre

Had lunch sat outside for a cup of tea Paul brought out for me, three ladies sat on a bench said theirs was milk and sugar. Paul duly returned to the boat and made them a cup which was greeted with much ooing and ahahing!

Trip boats and Bancroft Basin behind our mooring

Strolled along the river before another evening out.

Lots to watch in the rec in Stratford as it was a free children's activity day provided by the council.
