Thursday 24th July - 4 miles
Breezy, cloud covered start to the day had to put a t-shirt on. Paul went around the point to try to take a photo of the Severn bridges but he couldn't see them at all today.
Cruised along as far as Slimbridge where we stopped for lunch - decided not to go to wildfowl trust as it would cost £25 to get in - plenty of swans, ducks etc on the canal.
Got very hot, not able to sit out for long decided to stay put overnight. Lazy day reading and watching the Commonwealth games.
