Day 22 - Tewksbury

Wednesday 30th July

Great excitement today - Tewksbury market! Paul bought a new electric razor, we also bought fruit and veg, olives and stuffed vine leaves.

Spent the afternoon on the bank reading and listening to the third test which England are in danger of winning!

Conway Castle at Avon Lock
Very busy as the Conway Castle arrived from Upton on Severn deposited its passengers in Tewksbury for a couple of hours, a coach arrived and dropped people off for a two hour fish and chip cruise before the original guests returned to go back to Upton.

Cooked veg we bought at the market for dinner. Strolled around the town, restaurants seem busy. Called in Boathouse for a couple of drinks. Very loud, foul mouthed fishermen (boys) on moorings all afternoon and evening.
