Tuesday 5th August - 13.5 miles, 8 locks
Woke up to rain which continued to about 1.30pm we cruised on anyway - 13.5 miles and eight heavy double gated locks. Stopped at Barton lock for lunch.
Advised by boater coming from Stratford that there was not much space so moored opposite church which didn't really feel as if we were in Stratford. As we walked into town for dinner we found a space opposite the theatre so Paul went back and moved the boat up.
Went to the Dirty Duck for a drink before enjoying a curry in the "Thespian Tandoori".
