Saturday 2nd August
Woke to rain no plans to move today as forecast not good all day. Stopped raining just before 11.00 so strolled over to see what the launch of the plum festival was all about - not a lot going on - the mayor and town crier were out in force.
Did a round of the charity shops picked up a couple more jigsaws and some books!
Showery day had some amazing thunder which seemed to rumble continuously for 15 minutes or more.
A dry evening went to dinner at Whistlers wine bar and bistro - very nice.
